    How your keys are protected

    • Encrypted at rest on this device (AES-GCM) before being saved.
    • Stored only in this browser's local storage — never synced to the cloud.
    • Sent straight to the AI provider you choose; they never pass through our servers.
    • Never written to logs or the console, and never exposed to the pages you visit.

    No browser extension can fully protect a key against malware already running on your computer. For maximum safety, use a scoped key with a low spend limit, and remove it when you're done.
